Hackers target Linux operating systems

In a recent article published by PYMTS, hackers have been targeting Linux systems but these attacks are different, they don’t steal your credit card details, they target your IP address.
Why target an IP address?
Botnet uses the obtained IP addresses to form a network of infected machines and then utilises the network to trojan viruses to several different users.
This type of attack may not be immediate but it can be catastrophic to your network. Corey Nachreiner, CTO of WatchGuard explains “If I have a botnet on your computer, my goal is not to let you know - I want to be able to use your computer whenever I want it”.
